As some of you may be aware, Hoddesdon Kart Club (HKC), the MSA affiliated kart club, have decided to concentrate on running TWO stand alone MSA meetings in 2017. These will be the Josh O’Malley Cup and the London Cup.
In order to continue offering monthly racing at Rye House Kart Raceway, we are excited to announce that this year will see a BRAND NEW series of IKR (Independent Kart Racing) at our venue.
Whilst we would love to provide a series for all classes, we understand that strong grids, with a clear set of rules, are imperative!
Dedicated to FOUR classes, the series will follow a set of rules and regulations that virtually mirror those of the MSA. There will be some exceptions and these will be listed in our own Supplementary Regs (SR’s), which can be viewed below. They will not be prohibitive, just common sense.
ELIGIBILTY: It is NOT required for you to have a current MSA race licence (although you may be required to take a proficiency test if you have not held a licence before. There will be NO charge for this!)
The series will be run over the course of a Sunday. A practice session is included in the monthly entry fee. This will be split into session for each of the classes.
