2023 will see Grand Prix championships that we will be running for drivers that don’t have the preparation time available to compete in race meetings as “owner” drivers but still want to get all the extra benefits that becoming a club racer offers!

The junior RHDC karts are built to race spec and will only be used by our championship drivers. Not only will the karts be faster than previous years, but they will also remain in optimum condition allowing a fair and level race series! You will not find another championship in the UK offering a bespoke fleet of race karts!

Separate championships exist for juniors; 8 to 11 and 12 to 15 years old. The format is based around a GP style meeting with a practice, qualifying (for grid position) and final race.

With arrival 60 minutes before practice and the final finishing 60 minutes after the start of practice, the session should require you here for about 2.5 hrs “arrival to departure” allowing for the post race presentation. After each race the top three drivers will receive trophies and ALL entrants will get their own “lap time certificate”. Naturally many drivers will want to use their own race wear but we will provide all kit, if required.

Having give our 2022 members first refusal on the 2023 championships, spaces are already very limited. Each series has been given a rank based on the experience of the drivers already on the grid. Take a look at the race calendar to see the rank of each championship.
