Previous license holders;
If you have held an MSA licence in the past, you may be able to (depending on the length of time since you last held a valid license) simply renew your old one. If unsure, please contact Motorsport UK on: 01753 765050. Basically if you held a National A licence in the past you will be able to renew that licence immediately if the last licence was less than five years ago. If it was more than five years then refer above, you will need to take the Written test only but do not have to purchase the Go Karting starter pack. If you only had a National B licence and more than 3 years ago then you need to take the full test, following the Experienced IKR driver route, or novice drivers depending on the number of IKR events raced. You can download the licence application form from the www.motorportuk.org website, and if under 18, the PG Entrant licence form.
