ABOUT

Team Rye are delighted to announce The London Cup 2021.

13th & 14th November 2021

As the longest established major kart competition at Rye, The London Cup has seen some of the greatest drivers in the sport stood on the podium… perhaps this year it could be you!

After a late start to the club this year, the London Cup is a month later than usual but we anticipate it to be just as eventful as ever!

Due to the success and popularity of our biggest owner driver event of the year, once again, team Rye will be running the event to IKR rules. Meaning drivers without an MSUK license can still compete! (note: non-licence holders must be verified)

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Well done Comer Bambino + Honda Cadet drivers (or Mums + Dads) for getting booked in early, your grids are looking very promising. Rotax classes + IAME Bambinos, you need to get a move on!

R&R’s can be found HERE

ROTAX CLASSES – Due to the ongoing difficulty obtaining Mojo tyres, We will be sticking with Maxxis SuperSport slick tyre used in the final IKR Championship round in the hope that this will make it easier for the majority of people to enter/participate in the event.

FILMING – Great news! Sunday will be streamed live on YouTube with Alpha Live!

PIT-BAYS/PARKING – As we have done in previous years, we would ask that ALL large team awnings are set-up by Thursday 11th Nov + only on the block paved area along the top of the circuit by the train tracks. All other parking/pit-bays will be on a first-come first-serve basis.
ALL motorhomes + caravans should be parked at the Junior Circuit, also at the top end of the site behind the electricity pylon.
Only 1 vehicle per participant will be allowed on site (or 1 per team in the case of team awnings), any additional vehicles (spectators/mechanics etc) should park in the front car park by the pub and walk down to the circuit.

PRIZES – We will be announcing a selection of prizes for the winners in each class over the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out for further updates!

Due to the delay in releasing R&R’s caused by tyre shortages we will be waiving late entry fees for another 2 weeks.
