Ignite Your Passion: The Rye House “Summer Sprint Showdown” Awaits!
Get ready for an adrenaline-fueled day of karting action! Rye House Kart Raceway is thrilled to announce the “Summer Sprint Showdown,” a thrilling sprint event designed to test your skills, ignite your competitive spirit, and contribute to a fantastic cause! Join us on Saturday 9th August, for a day you won’t soon forget.
Here’s what you can expect:
Morning Fuel-Up: Arrive at 10:00 AM sharp to kick off the day with complimentary tea, coffee, and pastries. Get energised and meet your fellow racers!
Limited Entry, Maximum Thrills: With a maximum of 48 drivers, the Summer Sprint Showdown promises an intimate and competitive atmosphere. Drivers will be divided into two grids, selected at random, ensuring fair competition and exciting battles from the start.
Practice Makes Perfect: Each grid will get a valuable 10-minute practice session to familiarise themselves with the track and fine-tune their racing lines.
Heat Up the Action: Prepare for three intense 10-minute heat races per grid! Starting positions will be randomised (front, middle, and back) across the heats, adding an extra layer of challenge and excitement.
Prefinal Showdown: Points from the heat races will determine the starting grids for two pre-final races. Drivers finishing 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and so on will compete in Grid A, while 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and so on will battle it out in Grid B. Each pre-final race will last 10 minutes.
The Finals – B Final & A Final: The bottom half of drivers from the pre-finals will race in the B Final for 10 minutes. As a special twist, the top 3 drivers from the B Final may earn a spot in the A Final! The top half of drivers from the pre-finals head straight to the A Final, a high-stakes 10-minute showdown to crown the “Summer Sprint Showdown” champion!
Victory Celebrations: The action-packed day is expected to conclude around 3:00 PM, and we’ll celebrate with a well-deserved beer for all the drivers!
Supporting a Worthy Cause:
The entry fee for this unforgettable day of racing is £160 per driver. A percentage of the proceeds will also be donated to Teens Unite Fighting Cancer, a remarkable charity dedicated to supporting teenagers and young adults with cancer.
